Functions

There is a 2 minute setup delay, after the alarm is armed, to allow the vehicles suspension to settle.

After this the Level Reference Monitor will detect any change in the level of the vehicle which exceeds 0.5º as happens when a vehicle is jacked up to steal its wheels or to tow it away, and will trigger the alarm system once.

The Level Reference Monitor constantly monitors all changes in level.  It overcomes wind buffeting, etc by ignoring movement that does not remain in the same direction for 4 seconds.

If the vehicle is jacked up in excess of 0.5º and remains in a raised position the Level Reference Monitor will trigger the alarm three times and then reset at the new level ready for another attack.
